How to Make a Conference Room in Yahoo!

Yahoo! Messenger allows you to make a conference room in which you and your friends can chat simultaneously. When you create the conference room, you can invite your Yahoo! Messenger contacts and others who use the application. Friends who accept your request can also view others in the room and interact with each other even if they are not Yahoo! friends. The conferencing feature of the application is free to use.

Instructions

Launch Yahoo! Messenger on your computer. Log in to your online account.

Click Actions in the top menu, and then click Invite to Conference.

Double-click each person's name who you want to add to the Yahoo! conference room. If the person is not listed in your contacts list, click Invite Other and enter her Yahoo! ID.

Enter a message to accompany your invite for the conference.

Check the Enable Voice for This Conference box and click Invite. A conference room will open. As people accept your invite and join the conference, they will appear in the right panel.
