How to Make a Homemade Table Laptop Holder

How to Make a Homemade Table Laptop Holder

Laptop stands are a great way to take stress off your wrists while you type, and elevate the laptop for a more comfortable position. They also allow the laptop to breathe so it doesn't overheat. If you want to save some money, you can make your own laptop stand at home. Here are a few simple designs to choose from.

Instructions

    1

Use wine corks to create a portable laptop stand that only takes seconds to set up. Slide one wine cork under each back corner of your laptop, and they will hold it up for you.

    2

Lay a metal document organizer on its side with the openings of the slots facing you. Glue two triangle shaped doorstops on each of the back corners of the metal organizer. Take four round furniture pads, the fuzzy circles that keep furniture from scratching the floor, and stick them onto the front of the organizer. Set the laptop on top.

    3

Lay a three-ring binder on its side, so it angles down towards you. Attach round furniture pads, or a strip of Velcro, to the front of the binder so the laptop won't slide off. You may want to attach some on the sides as well if it slides sideways while typing. Put the laptop on top of the binder.
