Types of Lamps

Table

Table lamps are smaller, and are made for end tables and night stands. Typically, they have a wider base and narrower body but are not too tall. Table lamps can be made out of material, wood, plastic, glass or metal. They come in a huge array of colors and styles to match any decor.

Floor

Floor lamps are very tall and can light up an entire corner of a room or area. These also come in a variety of styles and colors, but they are usually made of metal and their lamp shade points upward toward the ceiling.
